Like new condition Asus RT-66U "Dark Knight" simultaneous dual-band wifi router, $75obo: https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTN66U/
I recommend this to anyone looking for a good router that doesn't want to spend $400 for one. Currently own this exact model. GLWS!
Thanks guys. For @AspitFire @predavore and anyone else running similar Asus routers, try the 3rd-party 'Merlin' firmware, it's less buggy and has more features than the firmware that Asus provides. That's what I have flashed onto the router that's for sale.
Pssssst, Eric. I may take it. How is it for gaming on a hardwired machine? Also with multiple devices using at the same time?
I'll lend it to you for a test drive and if it works well for you, I'll make you a deal. Can bring it on Tuesday?
put me in line next.. my linksys went toes up a few months back and i've been limping along on my soho firewall. While the features are awesome, it just lacks throughput.
I also have one but upgraded for a new ac1900 model. If kneel buys this one I will sell mine @Shane86. @Kneel Weiß was a great router for gaming and multiple devices. Gets awsome wifi range as well. Can also run non Asus wrt install if you want all the tech geek features. Would have keept mine but wanted the new AC band and USB 3.0 for my NAS drive.
Oops just looked at mine and it is this model. Pretty similar to the one here. Was great for gaming on console wirelessly and wired with 4 other devices running with it. https://www.asus.com/Networking/RTAC1200HP/
http://www.microcenter.com/product/...reless_Router_80211ac_with_Gigabit_and_USB_30 I got this router about a year ago. Love it very easy to use.
We shall see. This must be a new deal that they have with new items then because I have a 15 year old wireless b router that works like the day I got it lol.
