    ATTN: Parts guys! WTB 26225SA000

Thought I'd post it here for better visibility. Mods, if this belongs elsewhere, please move it.

    I seek part # 26225SA000

I called White bear, since it's closest to me. They quoted me ~$75. But, with a 20% restocking fee if they are not the right part. The restocking fee is bogus.

*edit* It just occurred to me that the quote above might have been for a single bracket. I need a pair.

I need to physically see these and compare them to the caliper brackets I have. So, I need to buy them. If they don't fit, I will need to return them, but I'd like to avoid the restocking fee if possible.

If anybody who works in parts in the Twin Cities has these or can order them, please let me know at what cost.

    Thanks!

It may be because it was a special order. Not in stock. I still think the restocking fee is bull.

If the item is special ordered, they have to ship the item to the dealership. THe 20% restocking fee helps cover them in the event you ordered a part and they paid to ship it, then you decided you didn't want it. If you went in and ordered a bunch of body panels and they shipped them out to the dealership, and you decided you didn't want them, they'd be stuck with a bunch of inventory that they paid to acquire.

I suppose that makes sense. Especially with the larger parts like panels as you say.

The problem is, I have no way to comapre parts 26225AE000 and 26225SA000. I have the AE brackets and they don't fit. So, I'm 98% sure the SA brackets will work. I just need to get my hands on a set of the SA brackets and then I'll know. But, if they don't work, I'd like the option to return them. (without a fee)

That part number has been updated with part# 26225AG080. We don't have it in stock.

Oh, good grief. Not another part number to worry about. :emo:

So, I assume the part number with SA no longer exists, but the AG is the exact same part?

How much to order a set?
