I thought we discussed this, but I apparently can't find the thread. And by discussed, I mean to say, I told you. And what I told you was to STOP WITH THE "SENT USING MY <INSERT PHONE NAME> USING TAPATALK" THING! You CAN help it. I don't know about now, but in the past that was a "feature" that had to be turned ON by you. That means you knowingly and willingly clicked the box to make your phone post that irritating crap on every post. And I know, some of you that use it are saying, "Well, it lets everyone know that my bad spelling is probably because of my phone's spell checker." No, most of the people that I see with this currently turned on are people that are notorious for jackhammering out their posts like a drunk retard, regardless of what device they are using to do it. Turn it off. Or I'll start handing out bans.
Pretty sure it isn't mine, but let me know if that is happening when I post. Edit: Okay go under main menu settings scroll down to signature and turn it off. That should fix it. Mine was off but I think the default setting might be on.
I remember a thread about the sent using reguarding iphones, ipads and droid, anyway I agree, its a little annoying SENT USING MY Dell E6400 USING A KEYBOARD
Not sure if this was recent or not but when I set my forum up with tapatalk, they had a box that I could check to disable the signature. Might be a little less aggravating in the long run to do that then insist on every user that posts to go in to their settings to change it. Edit: I just checked it out. Go to tapatalk.com figure out how to get to edit my forums. The option is just between Tapatalk Ipad Access and Hosted Image Support which is located at the very bottom of the page. You can hit the radio button to disable the signature.
it automatically sets it as on as of the currently revision. i know i just installed the latest version on my recently hacked droid so i know mine is still on and i apologize it shall be turned off
Thanks for the heads up, I just checked it out and turned it off. Now to see if it really turns off. Also, iirc, the other thread was in OT. Russ
