Well, I was gonna install some of this stuff as its been collecting dust, but after a break-in attempt, Im thinking I'll just sell it. Pioneer ts-w300r 12" sub - used for 1 day to test out a box - $30 picked up Elemental Designs 13kv2 dual voice coil-2 ohm + custom vented ED enclosure 12" sub. xmax= 15.1mm, qts= .31, qms= 3.33, vas=162L, 1.2-1.8 cf vented enclosure recommended by manufacturer. 1.5 cf vented box, tuned to 30hz, 25"x16"x14.5", 56.25" effective vent length. generic box specs from builder (except this one is tuned to 30hz, not 25) Elemental Designs 9.2 amp. 400Wrmsx1 @ 4ohm 150x2 @ 2 100x2 @ 4 I ran the sub at 400Wrms @ 4 ohm. Used for ~6 months. Gains set conservatively using dmm and by ear. I'd like to sell the ED stuff as a set but will consider separating. Ive been meaning to sell it. I havent used this stuff for the past 6 months or so and am happy with what I have in the car now - stock hu, upgraded coax's, and sound deadening. thanks for the bump tho...
STOP THE INSANITY! Your not happy with the Stock ones, you know you want to install them on your Broke-in WRX, just do it!
