I was on a work trip in Virginia a couple weeks back for some training and we took a field trip to the DC Auto Show one day. Few custom "Subiez" on display there...
On the other hand, Subaru and Toyota's official stalls had a BRZ tS and a beautiful green GT86. Both looked really nice up close in person. Lots of other stuff there too like the Supra, NSX (production and GT3 versions), C8 Corvette, Mustangs Mach-E and GT500, an assortment of classic American and Italian cars, and a bunch of high-end stuff (Lambos, Astons, Bentleys, etc.). Lots of really cool stuff.
The seats really make the green and gold one stand out. Looking forward to see what Toyota does with the GR model of the 86.
Me too. The Yaris GR actually looks like a pretty fun car so hopefully they'll do something impressive with the 86. It seems like they're getting more serious serious about performance models, and after reading this Jalopnik article (and the related ones) about Toyota's president I can see why. https://jalopnik.com/the-president-of-toyotas-letter-to-his-dakar-team-shows-1841088216
