When I found out all the stuff Nissan did to make it tuner unfriendly, I got soured on the GTR. Hopefully in a couple years they can come up with a way to get around all that stuff.
Like when they changed wheels and it threw the sensor off? I think Mines' is getting around everything as far as EM but then again, that's Mines.
This is a HUGE setup for Nismo in 2010. Let people drive it and want to upgrade it. Then make them only be able to buy Nismo Parts... Vaseline please.
Yes my brother is local and im sure hed love a photo shoot but april is an estimated date Nissan keeps telling the dealerships they will be here and they dont show up:ugh:
Id buy one just to have it If I had the money, but if I had that kinda money Id buy a lot of stuff just to have it, lol.
If I was buying to drive, then yes, z06 first. Otherwise the resale/collector value is gonna be redonkulous on the first year GTR. Anyway, GTR looks great. underbody aero is pretty amazing (from what I could see).
if I can do a double gtr photoshoot I probably wouldn't get any work done because of the tremendous wood I'd have
I have to be honest...Yeah, it's cool the "skyline" is FINALLY coming state-side, but it's not a true skyline in my mind. First, its not even a Skyline, it's actually a Nissan GT-R. Second, it looks like a 350z or G35 with a body kit and different lights. Also, they got rid of the inline 6 setup they've been using for YEARS...Sure, it'll come stock with more bhp than previous skylines (barring the Z-tune), but like you've said, they're making it a b*** to modify. If I had the ~$70k to buy one, I'd rather import a R34 for the extra 10 to 15k. Just my two cents...
no way, R32 GTR is where its at, the new one is sweet too... still have my doubts about the new engine
your forgeting that the G35 is! a skyline gt over in JDM land. so my your logic....it looks like a skyline.
I'd buy the GT-R to just drive. I'd only buy a plain jane C6, drop in an LS7, and throw LOTS of boost at it. Thats how I roll. V8's need turbo love too!
