need to get rid of this kit to make room in my garage. IT is the complete turbo kit if you need specs look on spomotorsports.com or rallitek.com, i'll also give you the full exhuast 2.5 into 3 in muffler, a hks super sequential blow off valve, autometer boost and a/f ratio in the pillar pod. uhhh. tempting, i have the cash, but i sold my gsx to buy somthing realiable...did you have any problems with the kit? was is basicaly bolt on and have fun or did you have to play with it alot. whats it use for fuel managment. i'll look up the specs in a minute.
sorry to but in but i thkn i can answer some questions. the kit was being run at 8 PSI for about 3 yrs? i dont think there were any plroblems with it. the computer is tuned for 8 psi. to instal the kit you need to drop you current exhuast and bolt in the new one. run the turbo lines and set up the intercooler and plug in the computer. i bet ya at 8 psi you could RIP although how much gas you would use would be interesting to see. good luck! My car gets ~26mpg highway. Different turbo kit but it's running rich so I bet it can be better than that when properly tuned. It's pretty interesting to see the fuel economy stay about the same on the RS with a turbo kit. As for those numbers they are probably a bit off. I can see 200 at the wheels running 8psi maybe. It's still going to be a fast GC Impreza, take it for that definitely.
i'm gonna do a compression test serously think'n about it. It's only been 5 weeks without boost but i'm missing it so much!!
the suspension was sold, the turbo kit is a direct bolt on like dynapar said, the fuel and ignition is all controlled by the piggyback computer. It has been tuned for 7-8 psi and i never had problems with it. it runs a little rich to be on the safe side. it was made to run on a stock car so if you have other mode done to your car, you will get more power.
