My Piranha is not eating the food I feed him! He won't eat blood worms and he used to eat flakes but doesn't anymore. I threw in a goldfish but I think he's just attacking it not eating it. The tank is clean, plenty of shaded spots, not alot of light. HELP? Is he just stressed maybe because I been reorganizing the tank?

What kind of piranha you have? Sounds like just one in the tank? If you just reorganized the tank i'd keep the lights off and give him some time. I'm fairly sure the goldfish will start to disappear in a couple days. You could also try throwing some steak bits in there or chicken livers.

Miss the 7 red breasted piranha's I used to have, they were awesome, until they started eating each other lol

If you just have one, get more. They're a community fish. There are some for sale at SeaLevel in Hopkins. Really great guys.

Also, make sure the water quality is okay. How long have you had him?

I have a Serrasalmus spilopleura or AKA Gold Piranha. I just wanted to get one because it wasn't recommended that these species be kept together. Right now he is pacing back and forth in the front of the tank. Been doing it all morning I can't figure out whats with him because he won't eat!
