Back Road Fun?

Just curious,
I'm slowly learning my way around the Cities. But I'm curious if any of you might want to share some places to take my car out of the Cities. Like some gravel trails or possible parks or even some really good gravel roads. I knew of some outside of Chicago, but here, I'm in the dark.
Anyone care to share?

Murphy Hanerhan. OMG The best place for gravel fun. Once I followed a first gen eagle talon around the roads, now I go there when I'm really bord. The rocks there are perfect, cus they are like big pebbles so your car floats on top of them.
