    Hello Everyone-

Just picked up a 2015 ice sliver metallic STI. A few years back I had a 2011 hatchback WRX, but I ended up trading it in for a BMW 135i M-sport that I got a screaming deal on. Ever since I have wanted to go back to the WRX, as the 135i never could compete with the KWv3 coilovers and swaybars I had installed. I currently don't have any plans for mods to the STI, but I am sure that will change with a bit more time behind the wheel. Subaru really did a great job with the revised suspension and interior. No rattles yet! Hope to see you around!

Thanks! It is from Morries. I was lucky to find one that was not already taken.

The salesman that helped me was Michael Clapper. I would highly recommend him. He definitely went the extra mile for me. He also use to work for Grimmspeed so he knows his Subaru's. I know he is on the forums, but I cannot remember his user name. He was recommended to me by my buddy, user Alzilla. He also works at Morries as a content specialist.

Squiggly is his username and Mike is a great dude! He had been taking care of us on MnSubaru for quite a few years while he was at GrimmSpeed. And now he'll be doing it from Morries Minnetonka! I'm sure that he is going to fit in well over there!

Morries Minnetonka has fast grown to be my store I want to go to for everything. I've been working with Scott, who has also been great. I'll have to stop by sometime I'm there to say hey. Congrats on the new ride, I will hopefully be getting into a 2015 STi. If you're in Champlin you may see me around.

Hey Todd, thanks for posting, it's good to see you back on board!

I'm glad you're enjoying the car so far. Did you pick up any winters yet? Do you have anything in mind?

Thanks Mike! I made it to the tire shop right before it started sleeting last Tuesday and picked up some winter tires. Car has been great and it goes in for clear bra on Saturday. I am also of thinking of picking up the oil air separator from grimmspeed while the car is still new.

So you went from Subaru to BMW.....

    and back to Subaru?

Interesting. But hey, welcome back, and I hope you're enjoying the new STI! Do you find yourself missing the BMW at all?

I have not missed the BMW since I got the STI. There are always pros and cons to every car, but the lack of LSD, RWD, two doors, and the very poor handling 5 months out of the year (narrow snow tires and larger ones wont fit) drove me away from the 135i. The interior and sound system was better in the BMW, but Subaru has made significant strides on the interior quality since my 2011 wrx. I have yet to hear any rattles in the STI. I also plan to autocross this summer (previously ran my WRX and Miata) and the 135i is not very competitive.

You might want to reconsider the AOS. I have heard of issues when using the Grimmspeed unit, especially while autocrossing.
(I think Grimmspeed makes awesome products, this particular one may not fit your needs the best)

Good call. The Crawford AOS (that's what I'm running) or Moroso AOS will work for motorsports use...but they will not be legal for stock class as they do not retain the PCV. Depends on how competitive you plan on being tho...I don't think anyone will call you out for an AOS at a local event.
