I am just wondering what parts are backwards compatible from the new imprezas (wrx sti) to the older ones (93-98). i have done some looking, and i have seen alot of new parts that should ift on old cars but i am not sure. if you have an idea please post it. Disclaimer: i dont have any facts on this, and i am really bored right now. i may make things up. right now i think that the strut bars are the same they all have the 3 bolt patern on top, however i am not sure about lenght and hood clearence. contorl arms. i saw some aftermarket wrx control arms they look shockingly similar to my 95 control arms. same bushing placements, and brackets. however not sure about the ball joint size at the end. heres an ify one. if the conrtol arms are the same, and they use the 3 bolt mounting pattern. then the shocks should be very similar. i know that the spring plate is a diffrent size. but thats about it. headers, i have heard that subie headers are alomost all comptible. ?exhuast. does the exhuast follow the same path? not sure on this one. would it be possible to use wrx exhaust on NA subie if you took out up pipe and down pipe and did a custom piece? this list may be added to in the future. probably not. if you have any info on backwards compatablility please post i am intersted. thanks for reading my rants
