If anyone on here is into pawn shops on a regular basis especially in the coon rapids/anoka area and can be on the look out for a laptop. Wife's parents house got robbed last night and the laptop I gave to my wife was stolen. We believe the people that did it were ambulance chasers as her dad was taken to the hospital last night as well to get checked out for a possible heart attack. He is doing fine and we are all doing fine we believe it happened when the wife and I were in the shower as we did not hear a thing and we were up for quite awhile last night and did not hear anything either. We also believe it was a crime of opportunity as her laptop and purse were laying out in the living room and her dads laptop was on the kitchen counter. Her moms all in one mac computer was also stolen however I do not have pictures or serial numbers for their items only my own. See one of the attached pictures for some pretty defining damage to the lid of the laptop that could tip you off. The laptop is an Acer Aspire red in color AS5560-6208G50Mnrr Thanks in Advance Jason
You may also want to reach out to the local pan shops and ask them to be on the lookout for the laptop aswell
Update. Some of the stuff was recovered. Including an army bag of the wife's she did not even notice was missing. It was a kid like we thought. His mom turned him in. So important stuff has been found. Computers are still missing
Haha yea the army stuff that we didn't even know was gone and the I'd cards are the main thing the laptop wasn't worth much so we are happy.
