Well I joined a while ago, and have visited on and off for a while, but never really joined in or introduced myself. My family first got into Subaru's when they were looking for a car for my sisters and ended up getting a 99 Forester (later crashed by 1 sister) replaced with a 98 Forester (also got crashed, by a different one though!) and now we have a 2011 Forester Premium, 1997 Impreza L and 2003 Forester XS Manual with the PP (along with a Rav4, 4-runner, and a Chevy Suburban). We have so far enjoyed our Subaru's and my dad (owner of the 4runner) is looking at replacing that with an Impreza. I come from almost no mechanical experience, but have been learning (thanks in part to Subaruforester.org) and have been expanding my knowledge. Looking forward to meeting some Subaru owners in the MN area!

I like the way you think, but I'm still working on getting my parents over their fear of premium gas. I think i have convinced my dad as he is looking at a WRX....
