my prodrive springs have been on for about 1.5 weeks now and i think its about time for an alignment before i get my wheels/tires. i installed camber bolts in the rear along with the springs. i did a search and all i found was fuji's groupbuy thread but i'm not sure what happened by readin the last couple posts. i am lookin for a performance alignment i guess you could call it and i dont know if tires plus or anywhere like that will do anything other then stock specs, where is the best place around town for an alignment that does good work?

Hoover Wheel Alignment on Lowry Ave in Minneapolis. They are better with their customers than the one on Broadway Ave. Hoover Wheel will give you the alignment you want for a decent price ($40 Fronts or $80 Fronts & Rears).

Or you can always talk with Fuji K on the boards. He works at a shop where you can get a performance alignment for even cheaper! :)

PS- both Hoover Wheel and Fuji K's workplace won't turn you away for having modified performance suspension.

I had my alignment done at the Goodyear tire shop on Shady Oak Road by Excelsior Blvd. IIRC, it was about $85 for f/r camber and toe adjustments to the specs I gave them.

I plan to go back there once I get a new set of tires and have the front camber backed off a little later this summer.

yeah, i got my alignment done at sears. think it is $79.99 for "performance alignment", there term for it, i can check price later today. But i know all the guys back there and i am pretty good pals with the Autos Store manager (we go to canterbury together). Its all computerized, they put in the vehicle make and year, it spits out the factory specs and aligns it to that. if you want your own specs you can have them do that too. a year ago some guy wanted -4 degrees camber all around on his '02 WRX, granted this was a daily driver, there goes his rubber.

Jnorth you could call my store and speak with Matt... tell them I told you too of the WRX/Subaru forum and ask or explain what you need and he would explain if we can do it or not... his specialty is front end, brakes, and alignments... he has been a technician for almost 30 years and has built and raced cars...

He should be able to help
