Ok, so my car is up and running, but the place I got vacuum from for my BOV and boost gauge doesn't actually work. I tried taking it off the throttle body ones to no avail. So besides the one for the MAP reading (don't want to steal from the MAP) where is the best place to get vacuum from on the EJ25 phase 1 manifold?

there should be some kind of nipple on the passenger side of the intake manifold, use that.

That would be the one where the MAP sensor and fuel pressure regulator draw from. I wasn't sure if running everything off of one was a good idea or not...

Well, its up to you, there should be some silly sensors under the mani of you want to use one of those, but i have almost all my sh*t running off 1 and it seems to work fine.

Is the intake still off? I'd drill and tap a new spot for it. You don't want too small of a nipple feeding the BOV. Especially if its the TiAL knockoff, since it needs all the help it can get in terms of response.

The manifold is on the car...so I guess i'm going to have to take it all off that one...

would it be a terrible idea to take the Throttle body off, stick a shop vac in there, grease up the drill/and tap to catch shavings, and do it that way? Then I can just Tap a 1/4 NPT hole and use like a 3/16's Air hose nipple. yes, no?

I'd probably not try the shop-vac idea...

Not sure if it'd be the best idea to put it all on one, but the instructions that came with my OEM vac gauge and my OEM jdm boost gauge both say to tap the line coming from the manifold to the fuel pressure regulator. On the passenger side of the manifold, there should be two coming out the back of the rear-most manifold runner. The top-most one is the one to tap.

I used this one for my vac gauge when I was NA, and now I use the same one for my boost gauge on my 207.

Some people have told me that line is probably not a good one to tap, but I'd take subaru's factory docs over internet banter anyday, and I don't see how there'd be any problems so long as you make SURE there are no leaks.

on the passenger side of the intake manifold there are 2 small vacuum lines. just tap into one of those. i wouldnt worry about having too many things tapped in. you should see teh diasaster i have going on there. i think i have 3 or 4 t fittings to make it all go back to normal after i had my BOV and boost gauge tied in there. car still runs fine. i say go for it.

There is only 1 vacuum line coming off the passenger side of the manifold. That is what the fuel pressure and MAP run off of. I guess I'm gonna have to T off that...
