I am so tired of banged up hands from releasing crappy vice grips. That typical inside release handle sucks on most. What brand comes highly recommended for ease of use?
Use another crappy vise grip to release the crappy vise grip your currently using. Otherwise I've used these. http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item...group_ID=20219&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog The opposite style release works far better and they aren't priced too bad either.
agreed I have a box full of snap on and mac and these "vise grip"brand is the best. Snap on ones are kinda ****ty imo.
Why do you need to use Vise-grips? They are usually a last resort when you do not have the appropriate tool for the job. Knipex makes awesome pliers, btw.
yeah, I was just trying to make it clear. it's like asking "what is the best kleenex?" well, it would be Kleenex®
I use them when a bolt shears (usually underneath the car) and I have to use heat to remove the remnant.
