I used to hit 153 and hold that through Turn 1 in a 2001 M Coupe.

Yes it was a very windy day and I was working the Spec Racers. I went WOT out of turn 10 all the way to turn 3 doing about +130 mph in an open cockpit car with 105 ponies. That wind was just moving my car side to side but I just hunkered down and stayed with it.

A few events back I got test drive a students Corvette +700 hp supercharged down the long straight doing +170 mph just passing everyone like they were standing still. That same car is in the video.

It's exerating to be able to stand right next to the wall on the long straight, I almost lost my hat multiple times while trying to capture this footage. On average most cars and drivers will be able to get upwards of 110 + 150 mph easily. These Detroit muscle makes 150mph look ease. I once had a Pastor from Rochester take is brand new 2010 Camero SS thru turn 1 doing 150 mph, he flinched and we almost went off. Despite my best effort to get him to slow down he was confident his AutoX skills would keep him alive, I was just glad God was out there watching over us.
