Its the 1st time ever that I had not have to work on a black friday and I dont feel like i'm missing out on much.
Black Friday!!!! So, we are bored (chubbyracing, devildevil, and me) camping outside best buy in Duluth, and we are wondering if anyone else is doing this!? If so, post up what your getting/got!! Stay warm and happy shopping!
No. Getting a deal on something is nice, but waiting outside in the cold for hours until a store opens? That's just nuts.
Same here, Brian. One was a co-workers customer placing an order the other was a wrong number... I'd be hitting the Baileys but, last week a local guy told me that he was going to stop by the office to get some stuff later in the morning...
I have to go be Scuba Santa in the Mall of America today. It takes me 12 minutes to get to work, but I'm giving myself 45. Stupid Black Friday crap. And the worst part is that the mall will be filled with 35-55 white trash women with piles of coupons mashed between their fingers. Don't forget that none of them know how to drive, so my car is probably gonna get dinged today Why are there two Black Friday threads?

I woke up at 5 and was at menards by like 5:45. I picked up 5 cheap offbrand snuggies for $3, another set of ratcheting wrenches that i've loved so much for like $9, 2 sets of nice jumper cables for $3 each. Nothin huge, but it's always fun to get out kinda early. It woulda been nice to have a cart thought but they were all out
Today is my Thanksgiving. Worked 10a-11p yesterday. Luckily the wife brought me home many Tupperware containers of food and I just had my first plate. 12:30 is not too early for a beer is it? I just woke up an hour ago.
Went to sears to look for some jackstands but I was too late. I thought 7 am was early but clearly I was wrong. Think I'm going to avoid black Friday from now on. Had a lady crash her cart into my ankle and just cruised on by without saying a thing. Then I had several near misses with crazy women drivers trying to get out of the mall parking lot.
^yea some people just go so crazy it ticks me off. You really need to be on your toes and watch out for stupid people on a day like today. story: When I was at menards getting my offbrand snuggies there were a ton of people all crowded around the box. There were enough in there for me to not have to push and shove to get a few, so I waited until there was an opening. Well there was an oldish (40-50) lady that was sorta in front of me and when she reached towards to back of the box she slowly tipped and sorta fell into all the snuggies. I kinda felt bad, but then I laughed in my head because she was "ooo ooo"-ing and she said "oh it hurts!" and I just thought to myself...if there is anything I'd like to fall into in this store, it would be this box of snuggies. haha it's a box of cushin. So the poor lady go her balance and walked off angry. Nobody pushed her, she simply fell when she was reaching for her color of choice.
Haha there were several of us chatting it up in the lines at walmart this morning. Someone pulled out a phone and pulled up POW's website. It was hilarious.
Nice! I was thinking of buying this and a ps3 bundle for the bedroom... been busy all day tho... maybe later if I'm can get some food and beers in my belly before stores close.

well in my hometown, my mom was telling me.. 1) guy lost his finger when he was trying to pull two carts apart and someone else yanked them apart on him.. 2) two guys full blown fighting at walmart, police called and everything..over a kids toy.. 3) didn't hear full story, but kohl's had to take someone away in an ambulance after a "scuffle".. why even leave your house today? whats for next year? trampling to death? knife fights? gun shots?
Phew just got home from work... Started at 9:00 i HATE black friday! Its busy as ****... People expect you to give it all away for free and just mobed at work!!! started talking to customers at 9:30 and didn't honestly stop or get out of a sale until around 5 oclock!! First small break. BTW mad deals at my work on all snowboard and ski gear! This is our black friday weekend flyer. (sorry gotta rep it!!)
