Ok me and some of the guys in stalled in a DP for my STI. Drive it no C.E.L yet until today. ( DP installed thursday) and when the CEL finally came on the cruise light starts blinking with it too! Is this suppose to happened? cuz on my wrx only CEL came on. Can anyone tell me what is wrong? DP is a Invidia Divorce wastegate type. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

the beauty of any suby with the drive by wire, once the cel comes on it also kills the cruise and throws on the cruise light. just get a resistor for the 2nd o2 or get a cobb AP which you should already have if your installing a dp on a STi

IIRC the electric CEL fix doesn't work on the 04+ models. The mechanical fix works just fine, do a search for mechanical CEL fix to get the right part number for the spark plug antifoulers, it works great.

EM wont do **** for the cat cel.
it will however allow some sort of boost control which is what bullwinkle is hinting at....
stack 2 antifoulers like brian suggested.
    it works wonders.

rear o2 doesn't do much if you're catless

the ecu reads information that is used to calculate long term fuel trims from the rear o2. in essence modifying your fuel maps.
many have therefore believed that a mechanical fix that retains stock like voltage, is the preferred solution.

you can actually see the effect if you run a log.
iirc in delta dash it's fuel correction #3..
