I'm currently running my blizzaks @35 psi. Just wondering what everybody else runs theirs at.

    Why the different pressures?

I'd think that would wear on your center diff.

I'm pretty sure my Legacy also states on the placard a 2 PSI higher pressure in front (more weight over the front wheels than the rear).

a pressure difference will create a difference in handling. Higher pressure in the front will generally yield more understeer.
Squaring up the pressures (bringing the rear up to the front) will make the rear end a bit more lively. not a ton in a 2psi difference, but it's there.

I was just wondering about snow tire pressures and I was thinking it would almost make sense to run them at a relatively lower tire pressure to aid with traction...at the expense of gas mileage and responsiveness. Perhaps due to the compound and design of snow tires, a lower pressure isn't necessary?

I favor a standard pressure as they're already softer than normal tires, and I like to go sideways... Don't wasn't to soften that up and peel one off the bead.
If I get in a bad situation it's easy enough to bleed down.

All three of our legacys have a 2psi difference from front to back.

True, I was thinking like keeping them at the recommended pressures (32psi or so), which is relatively lower than what I normally run my tires at even on the DD (usually 36ish). I will perhaps need to do some experimentation!
