What BOV's are you guys running. I came from the Audi/VW 1.8Ts which used Diverter Valves. I am looking for a good BOV to go along with a stock turbo on my WRX.

The stock BOV pairs up very nicely with the stock turbo...

It isn't really needed with the stock turbo and a full atmospheric makes for a pretty bad first mod. Full atmospheric vent BOVs cause a rich condition between shifts which actually makes your car slower...50/50 valves are about as close as you are going to get to actually being decent...but they still aren't as good as the stock valve. The stock valve is good up to about 20psi or possibly more which is WAY more than the stock turbo should ever be pushing, and it vents back to the turbo inlet pipe and keeps the turbo spinning between shifts which prevents that rich condition I was talking about. It really is the way to go on a stock turbo.

I modified a stock airbox that I bought off of Ebay (wanted to keep mine whole). I am just looking for parts to spend money on (want some more power, sounds great right now). I don't want to replace the turbo yet. All I have installed right now would be:

    Stromung Ceramic Downpipe
    Crucial Upipe
    Bosal twin tip catback
Tein Coilovers (looking at some JICs again)
    karboy shifter and bushings

I am working on getting a set of BBS Wheels to replace my Racing Sparcos, and hopefully STI or willwood brakes. Also does anyone know someone that does custom fiberglass? There was a gentleman that did a box for his wagon (herger - http://www.wrxlinks.com/forum/gallery/Herger/Finished Sub Box.jpg) it looked cool, I wanted something similar, but I don't know anyone that works with fiberglass.

A BOV will give you absolutely no power whatsoever. So if you want power, skip the BOV. For some free power, gut your third cat. I can do it for you if you want. But you will have to take it off and put it back on...I'll do all the banging and tearing ;).

I got the perrin one coming with my new turbo. I am still tempted though to just mod my stocker one. Anyone mod their stocker when they got a new turbo?
