Body shop recommendation

Does anyone know of any reputable and professional body shop? I need only oem replacement parts.

Also, does anyone know if filing a claim through an insurance company of a fender bender will show up on a car fax? TIA.

 

I think it's the police report that flags the car fax, not the insurance claim.

I guess it depends on what area of the cities you live in. My last accident I took mine to abra in fridley. They did a really good job actually with everything.

Another common suggestion I hear is Lamettry's (sp?) .

Location doesn't matter to me. I'm not paying for it so money isn't the issue. I just need top quality work.

 

I'm not sure. If anyone has access to a car fax report I could check the wife's car to see. It's had insurance claims, and a body shop visit with no police reports. (She hit a deer a few years ago)

On the other question, not sure where you are located, but I've had really great luck with Monticello Auto Body if you are up this direction. They've handled many claims for me and done great work.

Either Raymond Auto body or Lamettrys would be my top picks for an insurance job. Also yes an insurance claim will go on the Carfax history. The only way around that would be to pay cash, unless you make nice with the adjustor who is handling the claim.
