early this afternoon ~1:00 a note was found in Smith hall regarding a potential bomb threat. This resulted in the closure of 7 buildings on the east bank campus. including the one i was in at the time. about 1.5 hours later the police proceeded to shut down and remove people from the northrop mall area. what a mess. all classes in these building are cancelld until ~10:00pm. people are warned to aviod the mall area. its scray seeing this happen so soon after the virginia incident. although i highly doubt there is a abomb, and i bet that this was all stagged to delay cancel chem mid-terms (smith hall is the chem building).
I got a midterm in smith @ 6pm... Kinda glad its postponed...Still freaks me out though, I'm part of a research group in smith and go in there everyday...even weekends
I knew this would happen. Remember after Columbine...there were a lot of "copycats". I hope Virginia doesn't start a new trend...
Mid-term at Smith Hall.....Yang u sure that aint u tryin to delay your mid-term....j/p.... i'm just damn glad i'm out of college.....whew.....!!!!!! now I gotta deal with the fcukers at work.......they do that shiet at work too......
they posted up that they checked 8 buildings inolved and all are clear. frankly there were some many bomb threats in high school, i am kinda dessensitized to them. whats the point to strike terror into students or to postpone a test?
We had a Bomb threat yesturday at UW-L, But I am sure it was just some kid that didnt want to go to classes.
