I couldn't be happier with the car... the guy I bought it from took extremely good care of it and had receipts for EVERYTHING, down to every last oil change he's had on the car. 51k miles only spent most of its life (7 years) in eastern cali (was left stock this entire time) then shipped to MN a year and a half ago when it had the aftermarket parts installed. Car came with all of the stock parts as well as a true wingless trunk (no holes), and an accessport with the tunes saved from shane at DB. Got a real sweet deal on the car too at only $500 over dealer trade in value! I was very lucky to say the least on this find!
Watch out guys! STIs are illegal in WI!!! I got pulled over for my "aftermarket" hood scoop being too big and 70 in a 65...even though a corolla was passing me going 75-80
Haha I argued with Johnny Law that the hood scoop was factory. His reply was, "I'm not that stupid I can tell what would come from factory and what doesn't!" In reference to the spoiler and scoop...He didn't even know the car was a subaru (debadged except WRX and STI) until he ran the vin. But under MN law I was passing a semi in the left lane when he clocked me, therefore I would be subject to the "10 over" grey area you can argue when passing a car. BUT, i was about 3 miles from the WI/MN border...couldn't quite make it home lol regardless I did some digging and by the books an OEM STI scoop is fine as long as it comes on the car from factory and meets US DOT code. If you have a WRX and put an STI scoop on; that is illegal in WI. Dumb
