Bov question, and no im not a newb

    I am going to get a bov, because i want the noise plain and simple. Ive already cut off the resonator and its not loud enough for me. So my question is what is the loudest BOV that isnt 100% atmospheric? thanks :lol:

    I hope your pre turbo cat is not there anymore...if is gone then,



    TXS RFL (really f'ing loud)

    thats what I have and it puts a dampen on cars trying to race me, give em a salute and it usually shuts em up.
















    btw..I hate these threads.

    Turbo-Smart Dual Port. Has a horn like the RFL with a second port for recirc. It is 50/50.

    the rfl is by far the loudest 100% vta.
    but the issue with washer stacking is a pita.

    maybe get the perrin and run it full recirc.
    the perrin is easily adjustable without taking stuff apart, and the more boost you run the tighter it holds shut.

    the worx is a good unit, but mine was giving low pressure noises that i didnt like.

    just take the hron of the RFL and make it a recirc! combine the best of both worlds lol.

    That would be the TXS RBV34 which is what I have...and it isn't very loud when recirculated.

    I have the GFB Stealth FX. No doubt in my mind it is the best BOV available. Fully adjustable spring tension, fully adjustable blow-off from 0-100% AND you can put different horns on it for different sound! Fits perfect on '02 WRX.
