persistance..... after you do it once or twice.. GOLDEN or go to SEARS and buy a cheap hose clamp remover with cable....
I never really had a problem with mine... And I did it in a parking lot. Flathead screwdriver and a pliers.

We would have had to. That thing was a pos! I just told dude that he couldn't get the prodrive silicone one w/the kit b/c of that thing! And besides, the volume of the vulgarities helps also...I was bitching at a muffled level for the kids sake, which means that it was less effective.:laugh:
it spools like right now with the spt.. i've gone stock spt stock back to spt... noticed the spt spooled much much faster.. with the inlet... it spools uber... almost as if the spt requires an inlet to run propper..
i did a t-stat in my wife's car, the entire car is held together with these things...HORRIBLE! i replaced them all with the old fashioned kind
the bloody thing was under the manifold... couldn't hit it with a screwdriver without the fear of slipping and sticking a hose or worse... couldn't get the pliers on the freaking thing... esentially wriggled the stock melted hoagie out of the way and got pliars in there. took two people, and lost of wriggling and swearing. I was not a happy camper... but props to subie for making the "this hose will NOT come off my force of nature with this clamp of satans justice." i'm stoked about the spool / throttle response... and lord knows I don't need a blowoff valve for sexy noises... these two pieces combined make all the Wooosh and Psshhhh one could ever want.
