Box arrived v.cosworth longblock

We (Tintmasters -Fargo), get the opportunity to build a monster over the next month. Our customer is looking for 650whp out of this build. Much more info/specs/pictures to come. Here are some pics to start this build:

What ever happend to the tintmasters sti project car?

 

I'm interested in a build like this.....

I've looked into it a little I have a 07' wrx with a 6 speed,motor,turbo swap and $25K, I think a safe 500 whp would be a easy reach :biggrin: How about a 6 cylinder swap?

Yup, the latest BS with that build is that the 'heads were stolen'... This Cosworth build may be something that forces us to swallow our loses, and move forward with something else. Very frustrating to say the least.

 

I completely agree. It really sucks this happened to one person I know. But two makes it even worse. Maybe someday something will happen and everything will catch up to this engine builder. Who knows.... maybe both of your motors will "appear". I hope to see both of your car on the road again in the near future.

I am pumped to see this cosworth motor in action soon!
