boys, i am officially a proud owner of a subie!!

as some of you may know my dad (karl) works for white bear lake subaru. i wanted to buy myself another subaru because naturally i am subaru brainwashed and maybe a little bias. but make a long story short i sold the maxima out of the blue to hopefully but a subie, couldnt afford a subaru so i bought a DSM, she took a **** on me and i was S.O.L. with no money i was looking for a subaru for about 2 months everyday - literally. and finally my dad brought this bad boy home for me. she is probably one of the rarest 2.5gts ive seen and i am so proud to own her! here is a really really crappy picture of her just until i get more tomorrow. sorry there really big too.

thanks man. 124 on the odo. 5 speed. 1998 (dohc). no rust. no problems at all. and to top it off ive got that wonderful boxer rumble.

^you dont' have to have the 22t imported... but when you get a used one, REBUILD IT FIRST! else you'll end up having to pull the whole car apart a second time like my ej22t/25...

 

wait thats the beast inside your baby?!?! and maybe im wrong but i thought the open deck was the U.S. one, and the closed deck was the JDM one aka the good one

 

the japanese for most of their "good" stuff was all 2.0... same with Europe always, 2.2 is just a super sound block, no matter what you do with a subi motor they are pretty sound and stout

 

from 91-94 the Turbo Legacys came with an ej22t: Closed deck 2.2l.

My car has a ej22t/25 ehybrid, which is the 22t short block, with the Phase 1 DOHC Heads off the stock ej25.

 

better tell your dad to mention to Peter that u bought the 98 LGT...Peter just posted a FS thread on it...lol
