Well i know alot of Subie guys go in for gas at BP gas stations. I do too but since I figured out the difference between BP and SA gas, I stick with SA. My gas mileage from BP gas station was about 250m full tank(cities) and compare that to SA gas stations, my mileage is about 300m Full Tank(cities). Dont really feel any difference in performance. umm...I think i'm gonna try Shell this time.

I was told that the BP gas would help with the issue of the exhaust valves - which is why I go there. Premium every time for this guy.

I like Mobil, Shell, or Chevron

SA WTL...due to clogging up your valves

I won't buy gas from SA for any of my vehicles....they are the reason the prices go up and down (more up than down lately)so much around here.

    Don't support them!!

I use BP because it has the best anti-knock properties (based on my experiences) when compared to the rest of the other brands in the area.

    How so?

    You got any sources?

I've never heard of that before. Although I wouldn't say I got my finger on the pulse of the gas industry either.

    I thought that was holiday?!

250k miles on my EJ22e with the cheapest gas available (was mostly holiday in Long Lake....now I tend to go to either BP or Spur). most major maintenence ever done in it is timing belt work....

    it can't be too bad.

Same here. I've noticed up to 4 degrees of timing difference using gas other then BP ultimate. Pretty sure Holiday was the worst of the 4 or 5 I tested.

geez...what's wrong with me today...I meant Holiday...always get those 2 mixed up...anyways I still wouldn't go to SA either... I'd just stick to the national brand of Shell and Mobil...to bad we don't have Chevron here

BP 92 non-oxy pretty much kills all! There are a few more of them around than the Citgo stations that sell non-oxy.
