Just thought I would throw this one out there...

I'm doing a brake job for a friend of mine tonight -pads and rotors and all 4 corners of a 2004 Intrepid with anti-lock. Are there any special tools or tricks that anyone can point out? The book for the car is in it, so I can read through it before hand, but I would like to get any special tool before I start if it's needed.

    Thanks!

    Give me a brake..

Nothing really.. A good C clamp... You might need a star tool to get the pads off. I dealt that with a bmw. But probarby not. It would be best to get one of those loan a tools from autozone or 0'reilly's or checkers that pushes the calipers in. Make sure you grease up the pins and where the pistons of the calipers are. If you get the pads at checkers.. they a neato picture on where to grease...

Much appreciated. I thought it was going to be straight forward. Do you you know if either of the caliper pistons is to spin when it is pushed back into the housing?

not if it is the fronts.. it is usually only calipers with integrated e-brakes that require the winding back in
