I ordered the one from the timing belt thread for 2.0 turbo dohc, turned out it was the wrong one. So I dont know which model it is for, except not the one I needed.

    P/N 21111AA007 is for 2.5 NA motor, EJ251.

    P/N 21111AA026 is for 2.0 turbo motor, EJ205.

I am unsure about the 2.5 turbo motor, EJ257.

    ~Dan

p.s. The one for the turbo motor is a bit more expensive.

While I don't want to bother to confirm the AA240 part number, I wouldn't say that AA026 is wrong. AA240 probably superseded AA026. If you go into a dealer and ask for any part number, their system will show the superseded number so that you will always get the latest stuff. I'm sure there are many engines out there running AA026 with hundreds of thousands of miles, without issues.

Yeah, I am the dealer. ( I was posting from home, didnt have the catalog in front of me)

Upon further inspection of my catalog, the 026 is an early 2002 part number. everything after gets the 240, the differences? IDK, they look the same in the catalog.

Gl with the sale OP. They are $80 NEW with the discount. great price.

Yeah, I ended up needing the 026. I have a early 02 WRX so that makes sense. I can get a pic of them next to each other if anyone cares. The 026 has more outlets/inlets I assume for the turbo.

Well I'm glad I was able to provide the correct part number for you, despite AWD's wrong comment. Although he does have more posts than me, lol.

Game on chump, Ide gladly put my subaru parts knowledge against you any day of the week. Like I said, I was at home, and just pulling numbers out of my head, not trolling NASIOC for subaru part numbers.

The thread was bumped, so I am glad to see the OP found the correct part for his car.
    PM'ed you.
