You've never been to the Dinkytowner have you? Go and try a tex-mex and come back to report how you feel. Mmmm, I now I want a tex-mex.
Looks pretty good to me. But then I'm one of those guys that eat anything and then sleep on it and never seem to gain any weight.
aw u lucky bastard ahaha...i eat about 1k of calories per day and i just manage to stay constant if not gain a bit of weight.
you'd be surprised, it would prolly work. Most diets are about portion control and consistency. You can eat crappy food, as long as you're in a caloric deficit of your normal functions, you'll burn through it and loose weight. Also, the body will learn over time specific foods you eat and can get more efficient at using the calories. Eat the burrito only every day, whammmy, you're in a caloric deficit and consistent diet.
I keep drooling at the pic. Gonna go out of my way tomorrow morning and hit up a Hardees on the way into school.
There are 3 left; Midway, Anoka, Elk River. Luckily, my school isn't too far away from midway, I may have to leave 15 minutes early and hit it up. Will post review once I enjoy it .
That looks delicious, but reminds me to much of chipolte and everybody here knows chipolte would be much more satisfying, breakfast or not.
I beg to differ. Bill lives on Chipoltle and he can't stay out of the hospital.:hsugh: ...I'm going to Wendy's for a "Baconator."
there are also a few in the small towns throughout the state. the corporate places shut down, the localized franchises that could survive did. agreed on the first part but there are a LOT of DQs in the metro as for the dinkytowner, that was one of my hangouts of choice when i was going to school....
is it? I went there like a few months ago, back in July I believe, was still open Ate good too, and fell asleep in the car, made my cousin drive instead
A couple work buddies of mine drove to Chippewa Falls and toured Leinie's brewery, we stopped at Hardee's on the way back for the Monster Thickburger. Now we're thinking about doing the burrito and City Brewery in La Crosse.
Alright, I said I'd stop yesterday and pick one up on my way to class. I didn't since traffic pwned me and was running late. Tomorrow, with nice Friday traffic, should allow me sufficient time to drive to the one on midway and enjoy 1000 calories right before Calc.
Where's the closest one to Wayzata? (sorry, google gets pwnt by Websense here at work) I want to stop by and get one after work.
I'm not sure where any are besides the 3 I posted. You must work the grave-yard shift to get one after working.
Sorry, forgot my review after i enjoyed it. Size wise its pretty big. Its not in Chipotle territory, but its larger than McDonald's new breakfast burrito they brought out. About the same size as taco bell's 1/2 lb. burrito. Taste wise its everything you'd expect it to be. With 3 types of breakfast meat, cheese, hashRounds, and gravy its a mouth-gasm. I think it had just the right amount of gravy, not smothered, but had a definate flavor in there. Will get and highly recommend if you're in the mood for 1000 calories to jump start the day.
I had one totally by accident at Hardees in Windom MN. My wife (dietitian/diabetes educator) says "do you have any idea whats in that thing, thats the 900 calorie burrito! I didnt know it...ate it all. The strangest part was right after eating it I didnt feel full, but soon felt progressively fuller over the next couple of hours. Like a good margarita...it snuck up on you later
