I had posted before about a WRX that had been worked on by Wray's Auto in Buffalo. After taking a look at it I figured I'd hold out for a cleaner specimen but for the price ($7k + OZ wheel set w/ ok tires, STI Front Bumper, New Pads & Rotors) my bro-in-law decided to pick it up. Now that it's home we've ran into a couple of little issues and need some input.

    - Horn/Hazards didn't work. After looking in the fusebox, it's missing a bunch of relays: Fan 1, Fan 2, HORN! (I did put the Headlight relay in the missing horn spot and it did work fine. Phew!) Where can I get some cheap/free relays/fuses? Will relays from junked subie's work?
    - Wing was loose on the back end. Looks like someone pulled up on the wing and broke the back bolts. What shops can fix that fiberglass and how much will it cost? Or, could we just plug up those holes with something other than the current electrical tape? I'm thinking about sanding the holes down and covering with POR-15 (A little rust starting).
    - After removing the wing, the trunk won't open by itself. Someone has to pull up the latch and another person pushes slightly down and the trunk will pop up. Is there a simple adjustment to fix this or did we misadjust the trun bolt when we took the wing off?
    - Front headlights do not turn on when the car is off. Possibly the turbo timer is causing this and cutting everything off when the turbo timer is off? (Yes, We will be removing the turbo timer as many posts have said that it is not needed)
    - Autometer and exhaust temp gauges don't work... LOL... the autometer box is sitting in the box of spare parts... that might be why lol. Would you guys recommend getting this to work?
    - Alignment is off. Front Driver side tire shows negative camber wear. I loosened the hub bolts and pulled it out a little, hopefully that's enough to correct the camber. I'm worried that there may be something bent though I did not notice anything when inspecting the brakes.

All in all it's still a pretty decent car. We have receipts for the Wray's Auto work where he rebuilt and redid the engine as well as put in a factory clutch and inspected the transmission (20k miles ago)

All questions, comments and advice is appreciated. Thanks subie peeps. Hopefully I'll join the family soon.

The headlights not turning on when the car is off is normal (or at least thats how mine is).

When you take the spoiler of it should fly open and not do the opposite.

Exactly what I thought. Before taking off the spoiler it opened just fine. Only bolts I touched were the 2 that were holding ground wires.

what color is the car? i have two stock wrx wings i'd let go on the cheap. I have a wrb off an '07, and midnight black pearl (08V) that is off my car. Unless this car had sti wing or something. just pm me if you are interested.

sounds like trunk is misaligned, if i remember right from my disassembly there is not much for adjustment on the latch.
