    My son's 2004 Legacy was making a terrible rattling sound but running fine. Mechanic says the water pump looks to have frozen and the timing belt possibly skipped. It was running fine. Just clattering. Thought it was the A/C compressor clutch at first.

    Anyone looking for a project?

    It's a 2004 35th anniversary edition. Great shape except for the typical rust spot right behind the rear wheel wells. 150,000 miles. Automatic. A/c and everything else works.

    Would make a great winter car. For $1,000 I'll throw in the extra set of alloys and Artic Altimax snow tires (unmounted),

    My wife took the photos as I am out of town. Clearly she has no idea how to photograph a car.

    Make me an offer. I need it gone.

    Was the timing belt fixed? Because I wouldn't run it off time.
