so i took my sister to school today. when she shut the front passenger door the rear passenger window shattered. has any one had this happend on a 5 year old car with less than 36k on it? or has had this happend to any car????
Did your sister happen to shut the door and hit the window with a hammer? I have had broken windows before, but it always involved someone permanently borrowing my belongings with the intent to sell them for crack. Sorry to hear about the bad luck, hit me up if we need to postpone the meet tonight.
I've notice when I shut my door the sunroof usually pops a little bit, but I never imagined the force could be enough to shatter a window. All I can think is maybe the window already had a defect in it or something that went unnoticed.
the only thing i could think of was about 4weeks ago some asshat throw something at my car and made a dent about 1inch down from the window seal on the door.
nope luckly for me i got the guy to come out to quota my car at 11am and i just found a window so i should have it done. it did take me 3hr to vacuum up the glass though.
Yeah, I still find glass from time to time in my car. Not sure where it comes from / where it is hiding.
