EDIT: This thread is no longer being monitored. Please use this thread instead for Minnetonka Morries.

    LABOR:
I'm posting this for our service department. All MN Subaru members now get 10% off labor at BP Subaru. This discount is good for up to $100.00 off your service bill. Just let the Service Advisor know that you're a member of the group when you schedule your appointment. This is also able to be used in conjunction with your 20% off parts discount here at the dealership. Just make sure to let us know you're with the club so we can apply the discounts. Our direct service line is 763-582-7455 and our service hours are 7-6, Monday through Friday and 8-4 on Saturdays. You can also schedule appointments online at www.morriesbpsubaru.com. Thanks!

If you have any questions, feel free to either give us a call or you can post in this thread and I will try to get back to you ASAP. I'll also try to put together a list of prices for common things like oil changes, tire rotations/balances, alignments, etc.

    PARTS:
Hey guys, I was reading a couple of the posts and realized at one point I gave a member or two some bad info on the discount. It's still 20%, not 10%. My bad. Brett got it corrected before things were paid for, so we're all good. Sorry about that! Also, we still cut keys for free, so if you need a spare let us know.

Anyway, one other thing about the discount. Much as I wish I knew all of you by name or face, I don't. Please let me or Brett know if you're an MN Subaru member so I don't overcharge anyone. Have a happy 4th everyone!

Can you give me a price on an EJ22T shortblock?! I might be buying soon. 20% off might sweeten the deal if it drops the difference between new and used a bit.

It looks like it might be very similar to the fog light sticker on the 04 WRX STI. I'll check on a price/part number on that one. Would you want the Subaru Technica International sticker below it as well? I can't guarantee they'll be a 100% match, but the pic I've seen of the V2 lip/fog covers does look pretty close.

    Alright...here goes:

EJ22T Shortblock: 10103AA310 1763.74 (I'll check with Joe, this might go down a little bit. Shortblocks have a different pricing system because there's very little markup.)
STI label: 91052FE040 20.20 each (I'd have to order them)
Subaru Technica International label: 91052FE100 20.20 each (I'd have to order these too)
STI Short Throw Shifter (5 Speed): C1010FA001 236.00 (I have this in stock)

If anyone else has any questions just let me know. We can probably start using this thread for parts inquiries. Might make it easier for you guys if you can see if we have the parts in stock and what your price is before you take a drive out. I'll try to check this a couple times a day. Thanks guys!

It sounds like the shortblock is just rods, crank and pistons. There isn't anything else included with it.

    As for the headlights:

Left Headlight: 84001FA451 139.96 In stock
Right Headlight: 84001FA441 139.96 In stock

    Thanks guys!

Oops....I thought you were talking about the badges on the solid foglight covers. The only pic I could find of a V2 lip had the solid fogs and I couldn't see any other badges or stickers. I'll see if I can find anything else out and I will let you know.

Hey Martin, would you be able to get me a part number? I'll see if I can find one in the meantime.

For the taillights, I couldn't tell if you had a sedan or wagon. Here are part numbers and prices for both:

LR Sedan taillight: 84201FE030 $127.96 (Retails for 159.95)
LR Wagon taillight: 84201FE070 $127.96 (Same retail)

I would have to order these, I'm currently out of stock. If you can call me today before 3pm I can get them on our stock order and we should see them on Monday. Just let me know. Thanks!

US dealers do not resell JDM parts. All the STi genome stuff and the Subaru OEM body kits fit under this rule unfortunately. At least, thats what they have told me. I;d be interested to hear the response.

Do we get a discount on vehicles there too? There's a blue 2005 GT sedan in the corner of the lot that I'm looking at. I know how rare it is to get a GT on the lot but I didn't like the limited package on it because it's unnecessary for me and drives up the cost needlessly. My car may be gone in the next week or two so I'll be needing something sooner than the 2006 Evos (in October apparently). Just curious if someone can set me up with a deal on that one or if you've got something in the works for a 2006.

Or I'll just get another 1G AWD DSM beater to last between Subarus (or perhaps a Mitsu this time) later this fall.

aahhhaaa! you can get this part as an option on newer STi's. it is the perfomrnace muffler upgrade that cost about 800. it is the same as the JDM one except no or less badging.

    try this part number: D0510FE000DS

    jdm one

    OEM Brake Pads

    Brian,

Can you check on prices for me for the OEM brake pads, both front and rear (and whatever else is necessary to change them if they don't have a kit)?

    Thanks!

RallieNavvie: Call the dealership at 763-424-3331 and ask for Jim Monk. He's the new car sales manager. Tell him that I told you to call him and he will get you set up. Right now they're doing the employee pricing on all the Subarus. He's a good guy and he'll take care of you.

Martin: That part number is valid and I can get it. As far as pricing, there is very little markup on the part, so the best we could do is 10% off. Certain parts like exhaust and shortblocks just don't have a lot of room built into the pricing. You would be at 625.50 plus tax. Just let me or Brett know on Monday and we can have it by Thursday.

    Chris:
Front pads 26296FE060 70.00 in stock (retail 87.50)
Rear pads 26696FC002 63.96 in stock (retail 79.95)

That should be everything you'll need, they've got the backing plates and anything else you should need to replace them. Thanks guys!

It looks like it'd be more cost effective to go with the type RA gearset, pricing wise you would probably be about the same, maybe a little more with the US gearset. However, the Ver. 6 gearset is cryo treated and the ratios are better performancewise. I can't get the STI gearsets, but I can recommend you to a couple of good vendors. Let me know, Thanks!
