Hey everyone, I have been shopping for some hardwood or laminate flooring for my house for a while and my wifes co-worker told her about this place. I jsut got off of the phone with them and the laminate flooring is between $.79 and $3.00 per square foot. I have not seen it yet, but that's a great price. http://www.cannonrecovery.com/index.html Apparently they sell overstock and leftover stuff on the cheap, so it might be worth checking out. "Building Materials Outlet, Midwest, Inc. 2795 Highway 55 East in Eagan, MN Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 8am - 4:30pm Wednesday hours: 8am - 8pm Saturdays: 8am - 2pm Building Materials Outlet is a family owned business that's been successful in liquidating building materials for over 40 years. So if you have a project that has to stay under budget, give Cannon a shot."
I know IKEA has some nice snap together laminate "hardwood" flooring that was under $2.00 a sq/ft. Like 1.49/sqft IIRC. And it is pretty nice stuff.
I was just there yesterday, the deals are spectacular, but you do need to price shop beforehand because some stuff is the same as Home Depot. I've been looking at real Brazilian Cherry hardwood flooring and what sells for $12.99/sq ft at HD, was $4.59/sq ft at BMO. Don't expect clean aisles and cute cashiers though.
