Front Turn Signal light bulb size: 1156

    Chrome coated amber 1156 bulbs

I might just order it there if no one else has ordered it any other place

Just wanted to see if anyone did order any, where, how you liked them, quality, price, etc.

They are alleged to be the next step up the evolutionary scale from the Osram Silverstars (not the Sylvania Silverstars). The guys on RS25.com like them because they come with matching sidelight bulbs that are close enough in colour to look the same as the headlights. I'm ordering a set this week for the RA. And they ship anywhere in the world for free.

    Stuart.

So. You want chrome looking bulbs that blink amber, in a 1156 size.

I have clear bulbs in my front blinkers. Never been hassled about them, and they've been there for over 2 years.

    Or-- go to ebay. Done.

Make sure its flame-proof paint (like header paint) and yes this will work fine!

Turns out I made a liar of myself. The Philips Extreme ones had slightly better reviews, so that's what I went for. Planning to install them this weekend, so I'll try and get some before and after pics.

By the way, the bulbs showed up *very* quickly. Since shipping is free, and apparently fast, I don't think you guys need to have any worries about ordering from Powerbulbs.

    Stuart.

P.S. I also got some for the Land Cruiser at the same time (takes the same ones), but it didn't occur to me until after I'd placed the order that I could have taken the opportunity to get one set of Osram and one set of Philips. Then I could've done a real side by side comparison. Doh !
