Some of you may appreciate this. I havn't posted any in a while. Four Days Four Months Six Months Eight Months 1 year. He finally got his own Chipotle. Rice, Black beans, sour cream, cheese and lettuce.
Man, a year already huh? Amazing how the time moves once you have a kid. We're just about to hit 4, and he's so amazingly tall.
Looks like he's about to flick some beans at the photographer in the last one. Great pics. Mmmmm chipotle.
What!? Not fair, only 1yr old and gets Chipotle... Im going on almost 20 years w/o yummy buritos in my tummy... Geeze, lucky Max! Good food and gets to ride in a silver bullet!
Chipotle + baby= coolest kid ever!!!! I rememer my first chipotle burrito like it was yesterday... Om nom nom Ted you Gota cute kid!!!!
hilarious! funny kid ted Gotta watch that though, chipotle is an expensive, albeit wonderful addiction.
good lord that kid is growing fast, i remember when i saw him not too long after one of the first burrito pics!
Great pictures. I love the comparison to the burrito. Although it looks like he could have had a burrito at 8 months. I think your holding him back ;-)
So I sent an E-mail to Chipotle this morning. It read: I just wanted to share these and maybe score a free dinner for the family. I've sent out what has come to be called "The Friday Pictures" to remote family and friends for the past 52 Fridays. I wanted something unique to use to show how big he was relative to a previous picture. When my wife got home from the hospital 361 days ago, she wanted a Chipotle for her first meal as a mom which I thought was funny. THEIR REPLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! From: [email protected] To: my e-mail address CC: about 9 other people Date: Fri, 23 Jan 2009 12:07:01 -0700 Ted, Thanks for writing, and what a cute kid! We love your support. And it looks like you're raising your child to be a burrito fan. We love it! We'd be happy to send you guys some free burrito coupons so you can have dinner on us. Please send me your mailing address and I'll get those to you. Sincerely, Shannon Kyllo Chipotle
I sent a similar deal to RedBull right after he was bored asking them to sponsor me as a dad since I was drinking 3-4 cans a day to stay awake at work. They sent me a 4 pack with a DVD. I thought that was cool.
That is awesome Ted! I wonder if you can keep it going? Kids are the gateway to a bunch of free stuff. If you bring him to any sportsman type show he will get loaded down with goodies. That would be hilarious. I would want to read that email. "Dear SOA, I owned a Subaru, I then sold that Subaru to get a bigger Subaru for my family. Please sponsor me as a parent by sending me 1 or 2 Subaru WRC Rally cars; otherwise I guess a fully sequential semi-automatic 6 speed out of a WRC car would work as well. Burrito Man, Ted" lol.
