    I offer 2,000 need to hear back.. has Minor Mechanical Issues ex. Oxygen Sensor, Trunk/Gas Door Latch Cable Needs to be Reattached, Cigarette Lighter Doesn't Work

    "the engine is quite with the regular subaru tick present. From what I have been told at the Subaru dealership and at various shops this is a common noise for the boxer engine".

    still looking around have 3 weeks until the Z is put away.

    Personally I like the 97 body style much better then the 01. I believe the 97 had the head gasket issue though.

    They both have the headgasket issue, but they dont blow internally, they leak externally.

    I like the 97 better also.. but the head gasket on the 97 was replace around march.

    Go for the 97 then. Its so meaty and agressive looking. 97 was the year I knew I would own a legacy one day. I had a ton of legacy pictures on my wall, was in high school at the time.

    Go after it man.

    its an auto.. talk to some people. my question is like in some car, its awd from 0-20mph and then rwd 20mph + is that true for the legacy??

    the manual has a 50/50 split for power and the auto has a 60/40 split and any subaru after 96' is awd
