nice shots man... worked well with our spread out situation. lot was certainly packed... still did a good job at capturing the social scene rather than just the cars. :0
Today's weather was ideal for this. Very good, very good! I'm jealous! Again where are all the girls in the bikini's? It's 70 degrees yo!

there was a CUTIE who showed up in a sc300 and the only one to talk to her was Tbone hahaha she was with some guys though. but she was hot!
all of the women were either near the water when we first got there, or walking around the lake. I feel like I should cast out a fishing line in their direction...so many!! hahaa..
well looks like i will have to show up some for some of these! haha that and than i can get to know everyone too...
right on... it gets a lot better when we have a large crew around. I like this meet quite a bit more than firestone... don't get me wrong, firestone is great and its a classic spot where you can see everything, but I am a fan of sunny weather, the lake and the nice scenery (cars and beach chicks). works well for me.
here are mine from the meet! carl is quick but i take my time on each edit. one at a time. im slow here we go! MY only tone maped edit. i like how this turned out!
great shots mike - I also do all my pictures 1 at a time but prebuilt actions for the basics (resize, add border, add sig, unsharp mask) after i've done my shadows&highlights, curves, whatever, makes it go by quick
yea everytime were out there it seems to go over fairly well. more people need to show up!!!! it could soon be like the tuesday firestone if people continue to show. i love going there, i actually look forward to tuesdays now.
thanks man! i spent a good amount of time on that one because there was another car and a tree branch in the photo that i cloned out. i really like how it turned out. i did a lot of playing around with the temp of the pic and i like how the orange in the sky came out. im more just happy because its from one RAW image and that usually doesnt look as good as if i just took 3-5 photos
Yeah, I enjoyed it, this stuff is all new to me. Perfect example of how much work someone puts in so we can simply experience your expression. :biggrin: Keep them coming I have a folder just for these type of pictures.

Thats just how they ride, if you look at the rear arches compared to the fronts they are cut different. I was also just coating away at that point.
