Careful out west. It seems like a lot of n00b midwesterners die every year in avalanches out there. Don't try to highpoint on south slopes, mmmmkay?
I ride a 04 F7 no crazy mods just a nice MBRP pipe and some studs (besides the one driving! lolz). And i am stoked for this year michigan hopefully every other weekend in jan and feb don't get to head out west much and if i do it is to snowboard.
iv gone out to bosman MT for the last three years over spring break snowboardin and every year just gets better!:biggrin:

I had a sled for a year. Then I went to school and decided I couldn't afford to get 8 mpg for fun. If you ride a sled properly, that's what you get....
what the hell kind of snowmobile gets 8 MPG mine has a 1 " fuel line to the injectors and still gets 10-12.
It was a XCR600. Ya my thumb did hurt. my cousin got the same mileage with his ZR440 of the same vintage. If you ride it hard, they burn tons o fuel. 2 strokes are dirty little motors.
mine is a pig 13 gallon tank i get like 120 miles to it give or take some due to how hard your on it.
Yes sir! Got kicked out of college out there for that very reason......too much boarding. Trailer your sled out there and make a quick trip to west yellowstone. THAT is where you want to go sledding.
Thats wat i get :biggrin: normaly 6 - 8 depending on if im on a lake or river or if im screwin around on our track or fields lol nice... i kinda want to transfer there after i finish my generals in duluth but id prob hav the same outcome :roll: id love to take a sled out there but it just hasnt been an option i went to the UP tho that is definetly BA!
I lived in West Yellowstone for the summer, and was shoveling snow at work into June.... they had something like 23 feet on the ground, more in higher elevations.
Who the hell measures MPG's on a sled? You guys are wacked. 05 ZL600, going to get it ready and possibly ride this weekend.
I did... once. Wish I hadn't, couldn't get it out of my head... Sorta wish I still had that sled, it was a lot of fun

Just took out the new 09 600 DragonSP last night for a 20 mi ride. :biggrin: Was planning to go out tonight, but I think I am getting sick....
I ride a 92 skidoo with everything broken that can be broke, bungee cord holding hood down no shocks, its my drunk ice race snowmobile, it just never dies.
I will be riding my 01 XCF 440 that we are putting 550 jugs and pistons on, it will prolly still be a slug, but at least it will be a torquey slug. :biggrin:
