so i ran into an issue fitting my new rally cross tires on my car, they rub on my front struts. i need a 1/4 to 1/2 inch spacer, i know some one on here has to work at a machine shop that could make them.

note, these are not for a subaru, they are for a 4 lug, 4x100, i can buy the aluminum, and get you the exact diameter of the hub.

can any one help? looking for these to be made asap

    thank you.

i already have ARP long studs, so those versions arent what i am looking for and at 130 for 2, i know some one can make them for cheeper than 260, since material wouldnt even be over 100..

I might be able to make some, the width of a brake rotor.

AWD has seen this done by myself and "the giraffe". The rotors are quite a bit harder to cut than you think. Yes it can be done, and you usually end up with roughly a 6mm spacer. That is about 1/5th of an inch.

like i said in the pm I could probably cut you some mild steel ones. but we don't stock aluminum, especially not 1/2 inch thick.

if i go with the disk idea i will have the machine shop i use do them, turn them on their lathe, they took 8 lbs off the stock escort flywheel and faced it for $80, not bad for about 6 hours of "work" i used"" cuz thats how long they claimed it took, but who knows it was dropped off at 10 and picked up at 430...

I looked for some pricing on it today, didn't find much, really only need about 12in. x 12in. x 1/2 in. piece for 4, 4 in circles. Anyway could you do some research, I'm sure you have more access to prices than i, and i will have you make them because unfortunately i dont think the thin rotors will be enough:(

I'm hoping you realize that pushing the wheel out further will in turn cause more pressure and quicker wear on your wheel bearings. I know the car doesn't weigh much, but they were not designed to have the wheel mounted out further than what it is.

yes, thanks, its only gonna be for rallyX, it runs 14s the rest of the time, and it isnt a daily driver, its a go beat the crap out of it car, so i dont abuse the subaru, yet* and replacement parts are dirt cheep

pretty sure repeatedly pitching the car into hairpin courners at 35 mph and then mashing the gas with the wheel totally locked aint too good for the bearings either.;)

i found rallyx to be pretty hard on my old wheelbearings.
