well ...my engine sounds a little different to me ....im worry about engine knock, but i dont think so ...anyways ....if u guys can tell me , or there is some sound clips or video clips ... thanks!!
so your car has always been making this sound? check your oil, if it was bad you would know there was somthing wrong

yup i'll listen to it, subaru motors all (accept for 6 cyls) seem to make at least a little bit of noise

Whose there!?! Ping! Ping who? The Pinging noise under your hood... I bet you pop the hood and a bunch of immigrates come out...that is what's causing the noise... What I mean is...find a good mechanic *hint* Bikerboy or LegacyPGT and have them do all your work to get the car back to tip top shape...Too many chefs in a kitchen is not a good thang...whether it is maintenance issue or repair...Find one u trust...
When is this noise happening?? If it is under wot, then it could be det, if it is happening at idle, it is something else. Knocking under wot will sound like bb's in a can, but if you can hear it you have some MAJOR MAJOR knock issues. If you are running a ap with a ots map, i doubt that it is knocking enough to hear.
