I was cruising along Mt. View in St. Paul at about 1am in the morning and coming from the right intersection its a car with its right headlight out. It came close and its a COP car. Only the driver side Headlight is on. I'm afraid that he might pull me over for my BLUE headlights. Even if he did I'm gonna say that one of his headlight is out too, haha....
I've always thought that'd be a good way to catch speeders at night. A light out was always a good hint that that car way the hell up the road wasn't a cop.
I havent seen/heard of this. My dads friend that works for the city of West St. Paul works on the cop cars and he has never heard of that feature.
If he pulled you over for blue headlights and you mentioned it...in a nice way...it may get you somewhere. If you act like a jerk, and make it your point to tell him he can't give you a ticket for it, when one of his headlights are out....you will get the ticket!
