    Say i just filled up and my AVG mpg goes to 0. I hop on the freeway for a bit and my avg jumps to say- 26mpg. I park and let it idle for a bit and the mpg avg dips way down to like 16-19mpg. I feel like idle shouldnt affect it that much, does this fuel use seem unusual? Cobb stage 2 map and i have heard this runs rich.

    Its normal of a mileage computer, you are moving at 0 miles per hour while using X amount of fuel, the average will take a huge dump.

    Let's put it this way.

    Johnny pays 30 dollars a month for unlimited carwash. If he uses the car wash every day, then he gets 30 washes per month, or one wash per day per dollar. But if he pays 30 dollars a month for unlimited carwashes and only goes 5 times, his dollars per carwash goes up to 6 per wash. If he doesn't go at all it's 30 dollars for NO car washes, so his cost per car wash becomes infinite because you can't divide by zero. And of course if you get your car wash and don't pay for it, you're a thief, and have broken the law.

    Where:
    car washes = miles
    dollars = gallons
    larceny = laws of thermodynamics

    This might just be to much science for some of us to handle... What kind of education do you think we have... Most of us still drive Subaru's!!!

    Some of you got smart and got rid of your money pit... But you still show up here just to show off your infinite wisdom, eh???

    FYI: I still <3 you Jason, Sheenis, and all you non lesbians!!!

    I would have bought a Subaru if they made a car that fit my driving habits. That is, once or twice a week, from From April 1st through Nov 1st. A built block money pit Subaru wasn't fitting those dimensions. When you only put 1500 miles a year on it, you can't really financially justify paying 1000 dollars for new brake rotors, or 600 for a new clutch. The new car doesn't get modded. Well, aside from wheels, tires, and maybe a set of springs to lower it an inch or so. Otherwise, the only modding I'll do is when I finally crap out the original motor and replace it with a V8.

    Hey weren't we taking about how gas mileage is suppose to go up when you let your car idle for hours on end... Enough about your drop top and 24" RIMZ

    I could, I just don't want to deal with the tire prices at that range. Also, it makes the Z look "stanced." And I wont go for that look even if my tires are the right size.
