No JL Audio and no Alpine. Sorry, they are both super protected lines and I don't sell anything that I am not an authorized dealer of. Not how I operate. I'm hoping to get my website up and running here shortly.
Nope, I've had bad luck with Pioneer in the past and won't even consider picking them up again. Ever.
If you dont have pioneer or alpine what do you recommend for indash lcd screens? I want something that can do DVD/NAV/Ipod. I really liked the new pioneer for the fact that it can play videos from your Ipod, is there anyone else coming out with that in the near future? Also, do any of them have AV inputs in the back cause I know that you can buy AV cables for an Ipod to play movies or shows on a TV. And lastly do you have anything that comes with a built in Hard Drive?
yes...please PM me a price and also a description on how the wiring works. Is the deck removeable at all? I presume not since its a in-dash 2 din unit. I dont suppose there is a way you can make it work so that you may watch movies while driving.
I've never tried.....I'd have to see if they have any distributors as I don't really want to get into a commitment with any more manufacturers. Meeting their commitments with a town the size of fargo sucks.
Lets just say I can beat the price crutchfield lists quite easily. I can't beat ebay pricing or anything like that, but I will do my best to get close. Keep in mind that by buying from me you get FULL factory warranty and not some cheesy "store" warranty from a "store" that may/may not be around in 2 weeks. $785
Press "<ctrl> A" for pricing while viewing my reply to hakstern. How the wiring works? Just like any other radio on the planet really, there are ipod interface cables that tie the ipod/ipod video into the unit, its not an RCA connection. As for the CeNet interface, its just an interface cable/data bus that transmits power/signal/control information to the downstream accessories (surround sound, etc...) It's not a removable deck. And yes, you can make it work while driving, it requires a $2 rocker switch that will allow you to switch the e-brake wire from ground-to-open-to-ground again....then you can watch video.
Sweet...When I was asking about wiring I was wondering how much work was involved with it? Like would I have to do a complete re wire of my current Alpine set up to make it work or would it be pretty straight forward switch over. Thanks for the price and I will be getting back to you sometime soon hopefully
You'll have to rewire the harness going to the deck, but the wire colors should be the same. Other than that (w/o seeing/knowing anything about your alpine setup) it should be straight forward. If you have any processors/changers/etc.. on alpines ai-net databus they most likely will not interface with the Clarion CE-Net databus
I tried looking at the sepcs for Clarion MAX675VD and didn't see it offered navi. Just to double check, it does come with navigation correct?
its an outboard navigation unit that interfaces with the MAX675VD. NAX970HD It is about the same price as the deck itself....at least that was preliminary pricing, I haven't looked into the pricing lately and my distributor doesn't have that part listed on their site yet.
dang i thought it came with navi for that price...because the guy asked for dvd/mp3/navi/wma/blah blah blah...all the mumbo jumbo....what deck oyu have with navi...AT A good price of course ;-)
That one is probably the best of the bunch when it comes to good price for a nav unit. I can get Kenwood stuff as well, but its similar priced and not as good (IMHO) for what you get. 30GB hard drive, no disc to load for nav since its all on board, allowing 15GB of use for MP3 storage and (I think....gotta double check) video storage. The only other option would be carpc's. You might be able to save a few dollars there (maybe) but a lot of times you end up giving up some other features to do so. I sell car pc's as well.
JVC is releasing a new DVD/Nav/HD option that I will be able to sell for under $1000, sounds like it might be around $800 actually. I'll know more in a few days.
I am looking for a prefab subwoofer enclosure that is fitted to an impreza kinda like a jl stealthbox or the like I would prefer it to be un loaded as I already have a 10W3. I dont even know if anyone makes one. I havn't found one yet.
what year is the impreza that you have? I can build custom for the price of most prefabbed custom fits. JL just released a stealth box for the wrx/sti that might work with your impreza as well (depending on year). While I'm not a JL dealer, it is an option to consider.

yeah, I know...that was the same thought I had when I saw it. If anything I'll probably do the 1din in the clock location and a 7" Lilliput/Xenarc monitor in the factory radio slot w/ a car-pc in the center console. Why they aren't doing a 2Din w/ those features is beyond me.
my car is an 02 wrx, and if you can build one for a reasonable price tat'd be cool too. I'm pretty much lookin for the same kinda drivers side corner mount that I've seen everywhere else.
Do you have the sub(s) yet or are you going to be needing them with the box as well? If so, which subs do you have (make/model) and are you looking for ported or sealed? If you don't have the sub(s) yet, are there any from my lineup that you would be interested in? Infinity, MTX, RE Audio, and DB Drive would be my suggested products for subs.
