I have an 02 wrx, and you know if all the doors are not closed and you hit the lock button on the remote the car chrips three times? well, i had the door opened and the car made the noise, so i closed all the doors then hit the lock button again, and it still makes that noise. It has been two days and i have tried turning on and off the chirp but no matter what, doors open or closed the car chirps three times when i hit the lock button (and by chirp i mean the damn horn honks) Also, now the alarm is going off randomly (well only twice but still) Anyone know what happened? its like something got switched and cant switch back....please help, this is a hitch in my sale!!!!!!!!!!

Might want to go to each door and open it. There are buttoms with rubber boots over them. Pull the boot off part way to expose the black post for the switch. Spray come carb cleaner in gap around the black post, just a quick shot. Then push rapidly a dozen times. Then give them a couple of twists. If you have a compressor blow them out a little if not no biggie. Once you have done all four then disconect the Negitive terminal for a few minutes.

That should eliminate the switches being bad.
