Did you make it down to the autox? It was very cool to see some muscle cars (and others) sling it around the old track in front of the grandstand. They are doing it again tomorrow.
ok here are a few... i have more if anyone wants to see them i went with these 2 cars. i had a ride in the back of the firebird obviously. the corvette is pretty damn sweet. not too fast but it sounds really nice. if anyone knows blatner from armstrong highschool who owns the orange camaro ss with white stripes...thats his dads corvette. he also owns a few other toys that ive gotten rides in! that family is GM crazy

Anyone see a pro-street style Mercury Marauder out there? I saw this thing on the freeway Friday night near the fairgrounds, it was madness. Dark blue, HUGE wheel tubs with 16-18" wide tires, a roots supercharger and twin carbs sticking 18" out of the hood. Amazing.
Not today. I'm only allowed one day off a week. The funniest car was the t-bucket with a close second the '59 Station wagon with the surf board on top. The fastest time of the day was the Mini driven by one of the MAC guys (a ringer you might say.) My favorite was the '66 Chevelle with the LS6 and was extremely well done.

I don't know why, but american muscle in neon colors are okay with me... more to the point, rather cool. Somehow that doesn't translate over to imports, though. And that 'stang is frickin' sweet!
are you referring to the green amx? if so the color is actually called Big Bad Green. AMC also made a big bad blue and a big bad orange.
