time has come for the caravan thread! we will meet at 6:45am in the Inver Grove walmart parking lot. we will be leaving by 715am sharp to caravan to the event in cannon falls. We need to be there by 8am so everyone can tech in. please do not forget your frs radios. I told Dave I'd help him set up the course, so I might need to be out there earlier than this. So I'm a maybe.

One thing that we need to remember going to and from these events, drive like your grandma is in the car with you and there are ten squad cars following you. All it takes is one time for someone to get caught doing something stupid on the roads leading up to and going away from an event to get that venue (or that community) to turn against us and not let us play there. A pack of suped-up subarus flying down Hwy 52 is bound to attract attention. I'll get off of my soapbox now. Just wanted to appeal to everyones better sense. What you do is up to you. Last weekend for the Glacier Lakes Quattro Club event there was a squad on the exit off of I35 to the county road to Lake Cynthia lasering traffic. He hit me three seperate times. They read these boards too.
Uh-oh. I was afraid of this... Even though this warm weather is great, and the forecast seems to indicate it's gonna continue, everyone needs to cross their fingers for the temps to freezing or lower and stay there through Sunday. I'm running PA due to Bullwinkle's magic, and just in case I do some actual mods this year so that I'm not switching classes. Probably don't have a chance in h*** of placing, but I'm an optimist. yea and that means im tapped out for the day.. your gonna have to wait till tomorrow for my next one.... IF you come to watch you must sign a waiver... That's easy don't drink as much Saturday! You 'll have a much better time getting sidwayz without a pounding headache. I'm taking a tour of the summit brewy but that's gonna be it for my beverage intake on saterday.. rest of the day spent prepping the car.

In the other thread: FYI: We are starting one hour early!!! 8-9:30 tech and course walk 9:30 drivers meeting 9:45 start 9:45-12PM as many run groups as possible 12-1PM lunch 1PM as many run groups as possible before course gets too muddy
Sure, If your coming from Minnitonka 494 to 169 south get off on old shakopee and head east just past your first light maybe 1/2 mile down the road the shell will be on your right. This is what I'm thinking... Tech starts at 8:00AM so we should she leave The walmart by 7:30, Which means we have to leave Bloomington no later then 7:00. Yeah, it's great to watch on a lazy Sunday, and even volunteer to watch corners, except just be prepared for the conditions. It will be quite wet and muddy. Emily, you might want to change the first post to the new deadline for leaving Wal-Mart.
